Pre-sales of the Exeed Sterra ES sedan have opened in China, as reported by carnewschina.com, at a price that, at the exchange rate, starts at about 31,400 euros, to go up to the equivalent of 45,300 euros. It is the first 100% battery-powered vehicle of the high-end brand owned by Chery, built on a platform dedicated to electric cars, called E0X.
The Exeed Sterra ES is almost 5 meters long and adopts a closed grille and hidden handles to improve aerodynamics. The cockpit takes up current trends, with physical controls reduced to the bone, and a 15.6-inch screen from which the main voices of the car are managed.
A second 12.3-inch display is dedicated to the digital instrumentation, and there are two plans for inductive charging of the smartphone, as well as the Lion Melody audio system with 23 speakers.
Available in both the single-motor 2WD and dual-motor 4WD variants, the Exeed Sterra ES can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds in the 4WD version, and HPC charging allows it to accumulate range for 150 km in just 5 minutes of charging. In addition, the Max+ Extended Range version, equipped with a 97.7 kWh battery pack, claims a range of 905 km.
