A Florida rapper was caught on security cameras shooting her manager and then being run over. She now faces an indictment for the murder of her manager - which was entirely caught on camera, which of course serves as clear proof of the act.
Cavani Camila Hicks, 27, whose stage name is Key Vhani, was filmed shooting her manager multiple times on Oct. 9 in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood after he and another man attacked her in the street.
In footage obtained by NBC Miami, Hicks is seen getting out of a white car with her manager before the two get into an argument and start hitting each other. Another man is then seen exiting the back door of the car and joining a fight against Hicks, with the two eventually throwing her to the ground and pinning her to the ground.
After calming down, Hicks is seen rising from the floor and walking away, but just before the story ends, she suddenly turns around, pulls a gun out of her bag and opens fire. Her manager is seen diving to the ground for cover behind a car, but Hicks does not give up and chases him into the road, continuing to shoot him until he is left lying and mortally wounded on the ground.
At that moment, the other man who attacked Hicks jumps back into the car and runs over the rapper with her. From there, he reverses, accelerates and flees the crime scene. The video ends with Hicks seen after surviving the ramming and running down the street until she gets out of the frame of the camera.

Police officers arrived at the scene and found her manager critically wounded with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries. Hicks, who was also hospitalized with serious injuries from the beating and ramming, told police that the shooting was an act of self-defense and that she feared for her life. "The defendant stated that she was scared because of the size of the victim and after hearing him shout, 'I'm going to kill you with one stone,'" the police report said, according to NBC Miami.

A GoFundMe fundraiser set up for Hicks by an alleged family member claimed that the two men in the video "assaulted her multiple times."
The rapper was taken into custody but is expected to be released after a judge granted her $50,000 bail and house arrest at a recent hearing. Hicks' lawyer called the incident "a clear case of self-defense." Is it?
