Hyundai has chosen the runway of the Los Angeles Auto Show, renamed AutoMobility LA, to present to the North American press - after the worldwide launch in October - the new generation of the Santa Fe SUV for that market.
In the USA, when it arrives in March 2024, this model will be offered with the 2 hp 5.277 turbo petrol and will also be available in a hybrid variant after a few months. Santa Fe, given the importance of the North American market for the South Korean company, is manufactured on site at the plant in Alabama. Hyundai Motor Manufacturing, LLC (HMMA) has committed $190 million for new investments to upgrade tools and equipment for the production of the fifth-generation Santa Fe.

"With Santa Fe 2024, we continue our extraordinary transformation of the Hyundai brand and the wider SUV landscape. New Santa Fe will attract even more customers with its bold and distinctive style identity, spacious interior design and unique ability to blend urban customers' lifestyles with the natural environment outside."
SangYup Lee, executive vice president and head of the Hyundai Global Design Center, said: "The new Santa Fe is an SUV that strikes a perfect balance between city life and the great outdoors, allowing it to handle everything from crowded family itineraries to outdoor adventures."
