Hyundai is working to make the driving experience of its cars more enjoyable and engaging, which is why it is launching the in-car music streaming feature on the new Kona Electric, which will allow customers to listen to their favorite songs directly in the car. Specifically, the service, which debuts on this battery-powered model, is that of Amazon Music, and allows you to have access to music and playlists while traveling, subject to an Amazon Music subscription, and at no additional cost in terms of data traffic.
In addition to the Amazon Music subscription, you also need to have a valid Bluelink activation, with the app linked to the driver's profile and the vehicle. Owners of the new Kona Ice or HEV will be able to have the same function through a normal software update; while later on will come voice commands for selecting songs or artists. All this is aimed at promoting human-machine interaction, and improving safety on board, since it will not be necessary to take your hands off the steering wheel to choose your favorite music.
