Toyota C-HR New/Manufacturer
Toyota marks NIS 170,2024 as the new threshold for hybrid crossovers in the Israeli market. I wonder if the Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro will indeed climb there in their 4 models, after the Corolla Cross has already risen by NIS 000,173 to NIS 32,4 this month. Either way, that will be the price of the entry-level model of the new C-HR, as we estimated when driving for the first time earlier this month.
After about 000,28 units were delivered in Israel from the first generation, of which about <>,<> arrived by parallel import and <>,<> through the official importer Union Motors, the second generation arrives. The unique design has been retained but updated, with the C-HR continuing to build on the platform serving the regular Corolla Plus.

Although the new CH-R looks larger than the outgoing model, the overall length was shortened by 2.8 cm, with the wheelbase remaining unchanged at 2.64 meters. The cockpit has a slightly tilted design, with a relatively wide centre console, which has a small gearstick, a drive mode selector, and a large storage compartment between passengers. The volume of the luggage compartment increased slightly, from 377 to 388 liters.
The basic power unit comes with a 1,800cc petrol engine that produces 140 hp instead of 122 hp previously. This model accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds on the way to a maximum of 175 km/h and a combined fuel consumption of 21.3 km per litre. The new hybrid model with a 2,000cc engine already enjoys a combined output of 197 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 in 8.1 seconds. The final speed is 180 km/h and the combined fuel consumption is 20.8 km/l.
