The Rally Italia Talent 2023 is off to a great start with over 600 entrants who will participate in the Selection of the 10^ edition on the 7 Laghi International Circuit in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia) on 21/22/23/24 November. This is a record participation, including 35 under 16 entries, 76 appearances in the squad (including drivers and navigators), 12 disabled and with a percentage of under 23 entries equal to 67%.
Aspiring rally drivers who will be evaluated by a real Dream Team formed by Giandomenico Basso, Damiano De Tommaso (winner of the first edition of Aci Rally Italia Talent 2014) PieroLonghi, Luigi Pirollo and with the presence for the first time in the history of the 10 editions of the great champion Franco Cunico.
The 10^ edition of ACI Rally Italia Talent 2023, sponsored by ACI, Aci Sport and Sara Assicurazioni, still sees Suzuki as the official car that will make available the Swift Sport Hybrid with Toyo tyres. And this selection will also see the beginning of an important partnership with Italmondo Group and Mi-hub Agency that will support the latest selections of Aci Rally Italia Talent2023 in anticipation of a possible collaboration also for the 11^ edition of Aci Rally Italia Talent 2024The Big Brother of motors is a sports format, organized in collaboration with Aci and ACI Sport, open to all, With or without experience of races, where the aptitude for sports driving counts only and exclusively, designed to offer everyone, especially those who have never raced and also open to minors, the opportunity to make a dream come true: to participate for free at least once as an official driver or navigator in a rally. However, the aim is not only to identify new talents to be introduced into the world of motor racing, but also to raise awareness among competitors on the issue of road safety for everyday driving, to improve the control of the car in every situation, training activities that are mainly aimed at the youngest and pre-driving age.
There are many new features: in this edition Aci Rally Italia Talent integrates the ACI Talent +14 project, strongly supported by ACI ESuzuki, which allows for the first time anyone aged 14 and over to get behind the wheel of a Swift SportHybrid equipped with double controls and to experience the thrill of driving alongside the instructors of ACI Rally Italia Talent, All great rally champions.
This initiative aims, on the one hand, to stimulate the passion for engines in young people and, on the other, to train the drivers of tomorrow, allowing them to take their first steps in a safe environment and alongside champions of international calibre who will make their experience available, but above all tips for safe driving.
Another novelty, Rally Talent Ability: for the first time, thanks to the Rally Talent Ability initiative, affiliated to ACI and recognized by CONI, people with disabilities will be able to participate, free of charge, in all phases of ACI Rally ItaliaTalent, challenging the other competitors on equal terms thanks to a special Swift made available to them by Suzuki Italia, equipped with a special set-up designed with the collaboration of the Handytech company of Moncalvo d'Asti. The secret of the huge following of ACI Rally Italia Talent is well summarized by the hashtag #rallypertutti that serves as the slogan of the event. True to the fOriginally designed in 2014 by Renzo Magnani, the event allows anyone, even those who have never had a license and have never even a license, to get involved and see their talent rewarded. The only requirement for "rittini" is to be at least 14 years old, it being understood that for minors a parental release is required.
