Renault has released the first images of the new R 5 E-Tech Electric, which will arrive on February 6, 2024 at the Geneva Motor Show, showing some details that underline its personality.
In fact, the headlights take up the pupil effect as emphasized in the 5 R1972 commercial; the graphic with the number 5 on the front bonnet indicates the state of charge of the battery; the rear lights have an aerodynamic function, while the wheel arches bring to mind the sporty spirit of the R5 turbo.
These images are the prelude to a teaser campaign in the three months leading up to the unveiling of the car in its entirety, called R5VOLUTION IS BACK, and carried out with the collaboration of the advertising agency Publicis Conseil.
The first iconic details of the car's exterior design are represented by the 5 logo proposed in three colors, yellow, blue and green, like those proposed on the production model.
In the middle of the 5, which will be highlighted by a special display used for events, starting from 1 December 2023, hidden, you can observe, in part, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric.
The car is accompanied by a QR Code that links to the renault.fr/R5 website. where the vehicle reveals itself a little more, thanks to a series of details accompanied by a specific language.
In addition, on the site it is possible to buy the R5 R Pass, the pass that will allow those who buy it to be among the first to order and receive Renault 5 E-Tech Electric at launch.
To further fuel the anticipation, a film is planned, broadcast in Italy on the main television networks in the 30-second format, from 17 to 31 December, produced by the Man VS Machine studio, which will discreetly unveil the design of Renault 5 E-Tech Electric as it is launched into a wild race and tries to escape from a maze, to the rhythm of the song Instant Crush by Daft Punk.
