The partnership between the Piaggio Group and (Red), the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, which creates partnerships with the world's most iconic brands to create products to raise funds to fight and end AIDS and global pandemics, has also been renewed for the two-year period 2024-2025.
The collaboration between Vespa and (Red), which began in 2016, has given rise to products that have been dressed in red to support the cause, from the first (Vespa 946) Red to the (Vespa Primavera) Red, up to the most recent (Vespa Elettrica) Red.
Over the course of the partnership with (Red), Vespa customers from all over the world have contributed to the charity's cause, which has raised over US$1.5 million for the Global Fund, a global fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
On the occasion of 1 December, World AIDS Day, Vespa will organise a talk open to the public at 17 p.m. at its Motoplex Milano City Lounge, in Via Broletto 13. The protagonists of the meeting, aimed at raising awareness on the issue of sex education, will be Elena Di Cioccio and Lavinia Farnese.
From 2024, on the other hand, a capsule collection of Vespa (Red) clothing and accessories will be launched on sale at the Piaggia Group's flagship stores and online channels. The new collection will be available in stores from May 2024 and will include a cotton hoodie, a waterproof jacket in technical fabric and a t-shirt, all in red (Red).
