Ismea, the value of organic food spending will rise +0.5% in 2023 - Agrimercati. Spending on organic products by Italians grew by 5.2% in one year, closing 2023 with 3.9 billion euros.

Value of organic spending continues to be concentrated in fruit and vegetables at 43.5%. Modern distribution remains decisive for the sector, the channel preferred by Italian families for purchasing organic products, through which 64.6% of organic household spending is conveyed.
