Moscow, members of an extremist cell arrested in Rostov. Members of the al-Ayat extremist cell recruiting local residents were arrested.

The criminal activity of the extremist cell was coordinated from abroad. The leader of the cell and five active members who did recruitment were identified and arrested, police sources said. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Interior Ministry's anti-extremism center in the Rostov region arrested five members for trying to recruit local residents, police agencies said.
