A mass of cold air of polar origin from Northern Europe is currently crossing the country and causing a significant drop in temperatures. In Puy-de-Dôme, inhabitants have rediscovered their roofs, bell towers, and fields covered in winter whiteness.

This reappearance of a thin white coat in the landscape is all the more surprising as these snowfalls have affected the reliefs from 500m. They appeared in particular in the small town of Servant, whose altitude is between 333 and 724m. The return of cold and snow to France can be explained by the arrival of a mass of cold air of polar origin from Northern Europe. And this cold should last until the end of April.
