Chilean Nicolás Jarry lost 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) to Daniil Medvedev at the Miami Masters 1000. Jarry accidentally hit a ball girl during the warm-up, but rushed to check she was okay.

The world number four will now face Italian Jannik Sinner in the semifinals. The 28-year-old Jarry will now focus on preparing for the European clay court tour that will culminate at Roland Garros.
