Major fire in Wiedergeltingen: Recycling company goes up in flames - damage running into millions. Property damage amounting to millions was caused.
No one was injured in the fire as no one was working in the hall at the time the fire broke out. Initial estimates could amount to around 3.5 million euros. Measurements of smoke development were carried out by the Unterallgäu district office, which was also on site with a team from pollution control.
