A theft was committed in the cellars of a building on Quai Saint-Michel, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The perpetrators managed to enter the building, although it was protected by two digital codes.

Once inside, they allegedly forced the doors of several cellars, looking for valuable objects. They stole numerous goods there, causing significant damage, a police source tells us. Several cellar owners filed complaints. The 3rd division of the judicial police was contacted. Images from the building's video surveillance cameras were sent to the police by the condominium trustee, and the investigation is ongoing. For now, the individual(s) are still on the run, and police are still looking for them. The building borders the Seine and is located in the heart of the tourist district of Saint-Michel. This weekend, he was the target of a theft. It was not the apartments, whose windows directly overlooked Notre-Dame Cathedral, which were targeted by the burglars.
