The Val-de-Grâce garden, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, will open its doors to the public in the first quarter of 2026. The rehabilitation is being carried out as part of the transformation of the army training hospital, closed in the summer of 2016, into a health campus.

The City of Paris took advantage of this opportunity to negotiate with the State for access to 16,000 m2 of greenery. “I am extremely proud that by dint of reminders to municipal and state services, we were able to achieve a project that holds up and which has been applauded by Parisians,” says the city councilor.
