Around 60 people from Tölz came to the citizens' meeting on Wednesday evening in the Kurhaus to find out more. Town hall boss Ingo Mehner summarized many important events in the city in his annual report.
One topic concerned energy and sustainability: "There is really music coming into the local heating supply at the moment," explained Mehner. The "Northern Bypass Mega Project" is a lot of money that will be built into the ground and will also involve some construction sites. 'The road construction should actually start next year,' said Mehner. The Moralt Works, the "Tölzer Campus" and the Hindenburgstrasse are three other major projects that concern the'district town' of Bad Tlz. In the latter case, Mehner regrets the closure of the post office there at the end of June, but would like to focus on the future.
