Unsuccessful overtaking maneuver on state road 2070 between Altkirchen and Sauerlach. Two cars crashed into each other in oncoming traffic because a 78-year-old failed to overtake.
The person who caused the accident was charged with negligent bodily harm. During the rescue efforts, the area around the accident site on State Road 2070 had to be closed for one and a half hours. According to the police, the accident caused total damage of 20,000 euros.
