[HIGHLIGHTS] Village shop and MVV ticket: Improvement in sight for Walchensee - campsite wants to close the supply gap

There is a lack of tourist infrastructure at Walchensee. The village shop closed in August 2023.

Since then, simply buying fresh rolls has been impossible. A campsite operator now wants to close a supply gap. The issue of MVV is on the minds of every landlord, said club chairman Klaus Melf. The trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and back now costs 14 euros. The neighboring district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen will not join the MVV area until 2026. The problem will be solved if the RVO can recognize the tickets, said mayor Jens Müller, who confirmed an MVV meeting will be held on April 30th.
