April is making a fresh final spurt, which is even below the long-term climate average. After April started with almost summer temperatures, the big drop in temperature followed with storms that even brought the railway to a standstill.

“As expected, the weather situation changed with a lot of change," said meteorologist Dominik Jung, meteorologist from Wetter.net. According to Jung, there will be daytime temperatures of six to a maximum of 12 degrees in the next few days. In the north, up to 40 liters and in the south, such as in the Black Forest, up to 100 liters of rain per square meter. At the edge of the Alps, there was even well over 100 liters of rain, and at higher altitudes there was snow. The weather will probably remain changeable for the rest of April with sleet thunderstorms and lots of rain. In terms of Rain, there is still a lot to come until the end of the month.
