Bordeaux player Alberth Elis has returned home after more than a month of hospitalization. The Honduran striker was left in a coma after head trauma at the end of February during a Ligue 2 match against Guingamp.

His rehabilitation continues, in the private clinic he joined in March, but also at his home from now on. It is unclear whether he will be able to return to high-level football one day. The 28-year-old footballer would gradually regain his autonomy and a ‘normal’ daily life.
