In a month and a half, the Covid-19 has killed more than 15,000 people in France. According to the latest figures released Tuesday by the Director General of Health, Jérôme Salomon, 15,729 deaths have been recorded in France since March 1. In the past 24 hours, 541 people have died in hospital, bringing the total to 10,129. A figure up sharply from the previous day.
At the same time, at least 5,600 people died in nursing homes and health-care facilities after being infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, 6,730 people are hospitalized in the intensive care units of hospitals, with 275 new patients since Monday. However, the trend is still positive. For the sixth consecutive day, the total number of intensive care patients is down (- 91).
