The Ministry of Health reported this Friday another 11 deaths and 240 new cases of coronavirus in Argentina, according to its evening report.
Since the start of the pandemic, 293 have died and 5,611 have been infected in the country.
The health portfolio specified that the average age of deaths is 75 years and 60% of fatal victims are men. Meanwhile, the case fatality rate, which is the percentage of the number of deaths over all confirmed cases, amounted to 5.25%.
Earlier, the Ministry detailed that the rate of contagions is located at 11.10 cases per 10,000 inhabitants. 49.6% of those affected are men and 50.4% women, with an average age of 42 years.
