The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported on the morning of this Sunday the death of four other people due to the coronavirus, bringing the total of deaths to 819 since the pandemic began in Argentina. On Saturday night there was a record of contagions with 1,531 in the last 24 hours.
In its morning report, the health ministry updated the number of deaths in the country, which increased compared to the 30 reported in the last report, that of Saturday night. Argentina is going through an increase in cases in the last days that also impacts the number of deaths from Covid-19.
With the new data, the case-fatality rate in the country was 2.7%, registering 18 deaths per million inhabitants. Of the total victims, 56.9% are men and 43.1% are women. The median age of the fallen is 74 years.
