(ANSA) - TEHERAN, JUNE 13 - Iranian President HassanRohani has warned that severe restrictions to curb the spread of coronavirus could soon return, as health officials have now recorded 71 new deaths, thus bringing the total number to the country to 8,830. "Health protocols should be strictly observed, especially in the cities where the sanctuaries are located, where the situation is reported as alarming," stressed the president.
The spokeswoman for the ministry of health Sima Lari has confirmed today that 2,410 new cases of infection have been identified in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 184,955. "There are 2,755 patients hospitalized in intensive care, while the number of people recovered is 146,748. So far, 1,219,400 tests have been conducted throughout the country," he added.
