(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, JULY 3 - An Istanbul court has sentenced 4 human rights activists in the so-called 'Buyukada trial' to "terrorism" at first instance, including the two former Amnesty International leaders in the country. Six years and three months were sent to Taner Kilic, former president of the NGO, for "terrorist association" and 2 years and one month for "support to a terrorist organization" to Idil Eser, ex-director, and two other activists. The remaining 7 defendants were acquitted. (HANDLE).
