The Ministry of Health confirmed this Monday 19 new deaths from coronavirus in Argentina in relation to the latest report, so that the fatal victims amount to 3,667 in the country due to the pandemic.
The average age of the deceased is 75 years old and the case fatality rate is 1.8%, while the mortality rate is 80 people per million inhabitants.
According to official figures, in Argentina there are 201,919 confirmed cases , of which 5,376 were confirmed this Sunday. The average of daily cases during the last seven days is 5,628.
On the other hand, 1,122 people infected with Covid-19 are in intensive care, of which 83.8% correspond to units located in the City and Province of Buenos Aires.
The percentage of occupation of intensive care units at the national level, both for cases of coronavirus and other diseases, is 55.5%, while in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires it amounts to 65.2%.
The number of recovered from Covid-19 is 91,302 , which represents 45.2% of the total confirmed cases. This Sunday there were 2,276 discharges.
Since the start of the pandemic, 428,344 coronavirus cases in Argentina were ruled out through laboratory tests, which amount to 747,907, which represents 16,482 tests per million inhabitants, with a positivity rate of 32%.
Globally, the number of infected already exceeds 17,660.00 cases, of which 262.00 were identified in the last 24 hours. The lethality of 3.8%.
In America there are 9,476,000 infected with coronavirus, which represents 47.7%. Argentina groups 2% of the total continental cases, Brazil, 28.1% and the United States, 48.2%. The lethality is 3.8%.
