Executives: how Apec will help young graduates find a job

The association for the employment of executives intends to support 50,000 young people in higher education by the summer of 2021, in particular through workshops to help them sell themselves in business.


In this very special month of September, the Association for the employment of executives (Apec) is putting itself in order of battle to help young graduates to enter the labor market.

And the task is not thin as the return to the employment front is delicate and strewn with uncertainties, with in particular the shadow of a second epidemic wave that hangs over France.

In this climate, the joint association presented its action plan on Tuesday, entitled “Objective 1st job”, for the coming months.

The impact of the crisis does not spare executives and even less young graduates.

It would be a mistake to think that since they have followed their studies they will not encounter difficulties of integration.

Our ambition is therefore to support them towards employment,

”explains Gilles Gateau, Managing Director of Apec who arrived at the beginning of July.

This observation is all the more correct when we know that the number of young graduates registered with Pôle Emploi jumped 68% between February and July 2020,
