Protocol ready. Steps forward on the 'Cashless plan', voluntary participation by operators (ANSA)

A protocol is ready to guarantee merchants zero commissions on micro-payments with cards up to 5 euros.

According to government sources, in comparison with the operators it would have emerged the willingness "of all" to join, on a voluntary basis, to incentivize the digital payments on which the cashback mechanism is based, which should start from 1 December.

Different speech for transactions up to 10 or 25 euros: for payments of these amounts there would be the willingness to reduce or cancel commissions (as some operators already do with specific commercial proposals), but there should not be a specific protocol and we will rely on to the free initiative of acquirers.
