(ANSA) - ROME, 08 OCT - A protocol is ready to guarantee merchants zero commissions on micro-payments with cards up to 5 euros. According to what government sources confirm, in the comparison with the operators the willingness "of all" to join, on a voluntary basis, to incentivize digital payments on which the cashback mechanism is based, which should start from 1 December. Different speech for transactions up to 10 or 25 euros: for payments of these imports it would be the willingness to reduce or reset the commissions (as some operators already do with specific commercial proposals), but there should not be a specific protocol and we will rely on the free initiative of acquirer.
