Yesterday there were 73,272 new infections, which brought the overall balance of infections since the beginning of the pandemic to 97,894. At the same time, there were 926 deaths, resulting in a total of 107,416 victims. The daily death toll thus remains below 1,000 for the seventh consecutive day.
