In the meantime, the match against Ireland has been brought forward to 5pm (instead of 5.30pm), valid for qualifying for the European Championship, scheduled for Tuesday in Pisa.

After the postponement of the match against Iceland valid for qualifying for the European Championship, the Azzurrini reached the Olympic Preparation Center last night where in the morning they were subjected, together with all the staff, to tampons. The outcome was negative for the entire group; the result of the swab of a staff member is missing - says the ferercalcio -, whose examination is being reworked due to a procedural defect. Tomorrow morning new exam for everyone. The two players and the staff member who tested positive for Covid-19, accompanied by the federal doctor, instead return to Italy in the evening.
