The Choir of Santa Cecilia is in preventive quarantine for ten days after one of the artists tested positive for Covid-19. The National Academy decided this after having learned the news and having consulted the occupational doctor and the ASL.
The concert scheduled for Thursday 22 October directed by Maestro Antonio Pappano, with replicas on Friday 23 and Saturday 24, will therefore undergo a program variation: Giovanni Gabrieli's Songs and Motets and Stravinskij's Choral Variations, which see the Chorus as protagonist, will not be performed.
According to the practice, all the rooms of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, including the dressing rooms of the artists, have been sanitized and the activities of the Academy will take place regularly.
