Country after country, restrictions are tightening in Europe to fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
In France, where SARS-CoV-2 continues to spread despite the sanitary screw turns, 36,330 new contaminations have been recorded in the past 24 hours, Public Health France announced on Tuesday.
The day before, a new daily record had been reached, with 52,518 cases.
A number which could be explained by "the catching-up effects of laboratories under pressure in this second week of vacation, linked to a surprisingly low figure on Friday," we were told.
