"How does that make sense ?!": People hear 7 different words in one short voice segment - and you?
The "Jani or Laurel" controversy returns in an even more deceptive version.
This time people are sure they can hear 7 different words in one short sound file.
While many argue about the right word - others are sure that all the answers are correct.

There are seven options - what do you hear here?
(tribeskincare)
Somewhere in May 2018 the network erupted in a short and unclear sound segment that managed to split it into two camps: those who heard the word "Laurel" and others who heard the word "Jani".
This time a new and more sophisticated sound segment is starting to gain momentum on the net and the situation is much worse, when people think they can hear 7 completely different words (or phrases).
A video posted on Tiktok and Instagram features two women dancing to the sounds of the problematic sound with seven possible phrases appearing on the screen competing for listeners' attention.
The options are: "Fortnite", "iPhone", "Nightfall", "Nine Four", "Four Nine" (four nine), "Nice One" (nice one) ) Or "eye for an eye".

Hear all the possibilities

Unlike the "Jani and Laurel" soundtrack, in which people insisted that they hear only one option (except for a few who heard both), in the current illusion many tell that they hear them all, depending on the phrase they are looking at on screen.
One wrote in response: "Once I read all the possibilities I can hear them all."
Another wrote: "All it takes is to go from word to word and you will see that they are all right."
So why is this actually happening?
Professor David Allis then told the Guardian that since this is an unclear sound, a different interpretation could be reached each time.
He said: "Our brain has a hard time deciding on a complete interpretation of sound. If there is a little ambiguity, the brain is locked into one perceptual interpretation."
In the present case the brain is aided by visual means to arrive at an interpretation, i.e. is able to complete the missing information by reading the text that appears in front of it.
