(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 09 - There are 19,978 new cases of coronavirus registered in Italy in the last 24 hours. I report it in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The healed or remitted are 17,040. The deceased are 483. 172,119 swabs were carried out with the positivity rate compared to the new cases (19,978) which fell to 11.6% (- 0.9%). Patients admitted to intensive care have increased by 6 units with 183 new daily admissions, while those hospitalized with symptoms have decreased by 53. The currently positive in Italy are 572,842, the healed or discharged 1,606,630 and the victims 78,394. (HANDLE).
