Gilardino, Genoa haven't done anything yet
Alberto Gilardino's Genoa are chasing their seventh consecutive useful result, fresh from the success in Salerno and expected tomorrow from the home match against Lecce.
But it won't be easy for the Biella coach due to the absences which in this match too, albeit to a lesser extent than in the last round, are many, starting with the disqualifications of Frendrup and Badelj.
"Lecce is an annoying team to face, well placed on the pitch and with players of physical structure but also of quality from defense to attack. For our part - explains the coach - I expect the usual mental aspect that in difficulties makes us exalt our strengths and qualities. Tomorrow there will be moments in which we will have to suffer. But also others in which we will have to be good with the ball and have personality and courage and propose."

The coach warned the team against a possible drop in tension after reaching mid-table thanks to the victory against Salernitana.
"We haven't done anything yet. There's nothing to be taken for granted. The boys are doing a lot of things, racking up points and kilometers and have achieved several consecutive useful results (6 with 4 draws and 2 wins, ed.). But we'll have to fight in every game and always fight away and at home."
The last line is dedicated to the market which yesterday brought three news: Cittadini "will go to the bench".
"The club is also trying to build the future of Genoa, they are young players who have played little or nothing in Serie A. It will be up to me and my staff to make them improve. At the same time we are talking about young players so it will take time and patience to their growth and to bring them to the top are investments for the future."
