"Taking into account the statutory regulatory framework and the lines that the privatization program will follow, the sale of a share of PosteItaliane's capital will, however, be aimed at increasing the value of the Poste Group, guaranteeing, at the same time, the quality of services and the maintenance of levels employment".
Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said this while responding in question time to a question on the privatization of Poste, recalling that on 25 January the Council of Ministers approved a Prime Ministerial Decree which "will be sent to the competent parliamentary commissions to obtain their opinion before starting the operation".
