The Rome court has ordered the measure of special surveillance for Rudy Guede, the 36-year-old Ivorian citizen already convicted in the past for the murder of Meredith Kercher in November 2007. Last December, the Viterbo Prosecutor's Office had applied the electronic bracelet to the man and the ban on approaching his ex-partner who had reported him for episodes of violence he had suffered.
The man was released from prison in 2023 after approximately 13 years of detention.
