The Directorate of Transport in Hama Governorate officially started work today, with the experience of networking for the electronic transaction management program with the governorates of Damascus, Homs, Tartous, Lattakia, Idlib, and Raqqa, after it completed the four-day trial period.
The networking program aims to simplify procedures, reduce time and effort on the citizens, and pressure on roads from traffic raids and accidents that may occur in addition to providing fuel.
The Minister of Transport, Engineer Ali Hammoud, explained during a tour of the departments of the Directorate to see the implementation operations that after the completion of this program linked to several ministries, an electronic payment program will be applied to manage vehicle transactions in the Ministry of Transport during this month to be the first ministry that applies it, pointing out that after the completion of its application operations it will become The citizen can complete his treatment without coming to the Directorate of Transport or even dealing with employees.
A number of auditors expressed their satisfaction with the step of networking between the governorates in completing their vehicle transactions, as it saved them the hassle of traveling to other governorates and paying significant costs when dealing with the transaction trackers, in addition to shortening the time and effort when completing some procedures for the vehicle.
The Minister was accompanied on his tour by the Governor of Hama, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazouri, and the Secretary of the Hama Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Eng. Ashraf Bashouri.
The Minister of Transport told reporters that a plan will be developed to rehabilitate the international road to be ready when it is opened by the Syrian Arab Army and to reach Aleppo Governorate directly and provide an hour and a half hours from the current road linking Salamiya, archaeological, and Khansar.
For his part, the director of the General Corporation for Road Transport in Hama, Khidr Fatoom, pointed out that the establishment made an immediate inspection of the international highway in the Khan Sheikhoun-Maarat al-Numan axis to the town of Ma`radbasah, then worked to clear it and opened it to the movement of cars crossing and the return of the people, indicating that the road is currently running easily, easily and safely considering From the governorate of Hama until after the city of Maarat al-Numan about 20 kilometers.
He pointed out that the road sections that the establishment cleaned and removed the mounds from from the end of Khan Sheikhoun to the town of Ma`radbas with a length of 62 km within the distance from Hama to Ma`rat al-Nu`man and from Ma`rah to Ma`radassa, about 19 km, are also fully ready.
