The Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabour stressed that the so-called "deal of the century" contradicts the decisions issued by the Security Council and international legitimacy.
"The deal targets the national rights of the Palestinian people and totally contradicts the international legitimacy resolutions issued by the Security Council and the General Assembly with an international consensus," Dabour said during his meeting with Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Jalal Firouzenia.
For his part, Firouzenia reiterated Iran's position rejecting the so-called "deal of the century" and its stand on the side of the Palestinian cause and achieving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called yesterday the International Quartet and members of the Security Council to hold an international conference with the aim of implementing international legitimacy resolutions, on top of which is Resolution 2334, which confirms the illegality of settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories and its immediate cessation.
