The only candidate not to be invited to the debate organized this Wednesday evening at 8:45 p.m. on LCI between the other seven Parisian list leaders, Marcel Campion denounced during a press conference this Tuesday morning, his "update media gap ”.
Posing both as a victim of the media system and as "the only opponent of the current system", the leader of the Libenons Paris movement, candidate in the 18th arrondissement, said: "My program and my book * have been sent to all the press. No newspaper has mentioned it. And when a private television channel organizes a debate, we are excluded from it ”.
"Because you're the last in the class, are you being taken out of school?" "
Presenting himself as "someone from the people", the honorary president of the fairground unions in France said that he wrote to David Pujadas who will present the debate and also "Monday by bailiff" to Gilles Pélisson (Editor's note: Group CEO TF1 to which LCI belongs). If he claims not to have received a response, Marcel Campion announces, however, with an air of dissatisfaction: "For reasons of fairness, LCI will receive me this Wednesday at 3.30 pm as part of the program Le club de Roselyne Bachelot ”.
Faced with those who point out to him that he weighs only 1 to 2% of the voting intentions in the polls, the famous fairground man replies: "Because you are the last in the class, are you taken out of school?" ". Before delivering her conviction: "I think Anne Hidalgo (PS) and Rachida Dati (LR) who are very friends, asked for my exclusion from the debate". And to take the blow against the candidate LR: “Ms. Dati, who pumped half of our program, is the opponent. But I have never seen him oppose Hidalgo. Until the end of the mandate, they were allies. That is why we are the only opponents of the current system ”.
A spoilsport

Before rolling out the results without surprise: 54% of Parisians are not satisfied with Anne Hidalgo's results, especially in terms of cleanliness (73%). But they are 89% to approve the idea of "carrying out an independent audit on the state of the finances of the City", 87% to appreciate "the reinstation of organic vegetable crops in the near and middle suburbs to supply the municipal canteens" and 84% to subscribe to "the total ban on scooters on the sidewalks", three flagship measures of the Libenons Paris program. In the same way as "the reopening of the lanes on banks to automobile traffic during the week" which receives 56% of approvals.
Right last in the polls, "Marcel Campion, far from being an unknown, rose to 5th place in terms of notoriety (73% of respondents said they know him), very much ahead of Danielle Simonnet (LFI, 47%) or David Belliard (EELV, 43%) ”, underlines François Kraus.
