He is organizing a virtual Facebook meeting on March 12 at 8 p.m. on “Villeurbanne au Coeur”, which will allow him, with his running mate Emmanuelle Haziza, to address and even interact with voters. "It's a political innovation," explains the candidate, setting the last details of this new kind of meeting in a studio fitted out for the occasion.

One hour live, during which their proposals on education, security, quality of life and the environment will be developed, but which will above all give internet users the opportunity to ask their questions, live and in writing, but also through a telepresence robot present in the studio. "When I saw how the virus spreads, in China, in Italy and elsewhere, I thought that as a political leader, it was necessary to anticipate" he confides.
This new form of expression offers the advantage, according to him, of reaching a wider audience, beyond voters already convinced, to the ranks of its opponents. Above all, it could foreshadow what the politics of tomorrow will be. "The virus is accelerating the digital transition," he observes.
