Today, the French Ministry of Health announced the registration of 80 new deaths from the new Corona virus in the last 24 hours, the lowest toll since last April.
Agence France-Presse quoted the French General Administration of Health as saying that there are still 22,614 cases in hospitals due to the virus, noting that since the epidemic spread, 95,829 people have been hospitalized, 5,6038 of whom have recovered and have returned to their homes.
The General Administration of Health warned that the epidemic is still spreading in many regions of the country, calling for continued commitment to social divergence measures and some restrictions.
The total number of deaths in France reached 26,230 with the death of 243 people yesterday.
On Monday, France will start lifting general isolation restrictions that have been in effect at the national level for nearly two months.
