The coronavirus epidemic killed 80 more in 24 hours in France, the lowest daily toll since early April, bringing the total number of deaths to 26,310 since March 1, including 16,573 deaths in hospitals and 9,737 in social establishments and medico-social, said Saturday the Directorate General of Health in a statement.

The pressure on the intensive care units continues to ease, with 38 new serious cases admitted to intensive care, or 2,812 serious cases (-56 serious patients).
Regarding hospitalizations, 22,614 people are currently hospitalized in France against 22,724 on Friday.
