After today's heavy rainfall in all parts of the country (Thursday), there will be a significant drop in temperatures, and the heat will finally be relieved, especially in the coastal area. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy and the humidity will rise. In the mountains and inland the country is still hotter than usual.

On Saturday there will be another drop in temperatures and they will be back to normal for the season. In the north there may be light rain. The week starts quite volatile as Sunday the temperature drops further and they are lower than normal for the season. Partly cloudy, in the north of the country and in its center, local rainfall is expected and some thunderstorms may occur. In the northern Negev there may be light rain. In the Jordan Valley, the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea, there is a slight fear of flooding.

In fact, this is a cold air block that is expected to reach from the Eastern European region to the eastern Mediterranean, so rain is expected during the aforementioned Sunday until Monday morning in the north and center. 

Monday will be partly cloudy to fine. Temperatures will rise, but they will still be lower than usual in the season. In the morning there may be drizzle in the north of the country. Nahum Malik, a meteorologist forecaster, states that "this is an unusual rain system for this period and its scope is still unclear."
