A hunter makes a mysterious find in the forest in the Lüneburg Heath, and the police are puzzled. But there is already a theory.

What the hunter  brought to the police after he was discovered in the forest was likely to amaze the officials. He carried a jewelry box that looked like leather. And it was not empty, but filled with chains, rings and other treasures .

The police could not solve the mystery of the find and have now - two and a half months later - published photos. Meanwhile, the theory of the police  on the forest find is neither romantic nor humorous: At the Harburg police inspection, one suspects something completely different as a background: "The casket was captured during a burglary and disposed of by the perpetrators with the unusable jewelry in the forest." 

A crime - which should inspire further speculation by fairy tale fans and crime fiction fans .
