Former Egyptian intelligence agency deputy Major General Mohamed Rashad denounced the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, stressing that they are part of the conspiracy against Syria.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Rashad pointed out that these unjust measures are an absurd attempt to pressure the Syrian state to change its policies hostile to the American scheme in the region, stressing that this American and Western behavior indicates their lack of awareness of the coherent and stable Syrian state structure that will remain Dora of the East despite all these basics .
Rashad pointed out that Syria has spent years fighting terrorism and facing partition plots, and will win thanks to the steadfastness of its people and the valor of its army, and the unfair Western blockade against it will not help.
