Today, the Russian health authorities announced the registration of 52 new deaths from the newly created virus in the capital, Moscow.
The Russia website today quoted the Anti-Corona Virus Operations Center in Moscow as saying that the number of people who died of the disease in the city during the past 24 hours reached 52, indicating that the victims were infected with pneumonia caused by the virus infection.
The center pointed out that the general outcome of the deceased in the capital has reached 3386 people so far, after it was 3334 in the previous statistic.
Moscow is the largest epicenter of the virus outbreak in Russia, with 202,264 confirmed cases recorded, including 123,240 cases of recovery, amid a steady decline in the number of new patients and an increase in the number of people recovering.
As of this morning, 537,210 confirmed cases of Corona virus were recorded in Russia, including 7091 deaths and 284,539 cases of recovery.
The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, confirmed earlier that the peak of the new Corona virus pandemic had been overcome in the Russian capital, announcing the lifting of general restrictions and the quarantine system in the city as of the 9th of this month.
