The Italian Civil Protection Agency in Italy announced that the number of Covid 19 deaths due to corona virus increased by 66 yesterday from 43 yesterday, while the daily toll of new cases increased slightly from 329 to 333.
Reuters quoted the agency as saying that the total number of deaths since the outbreak of the disease in Italy on February 21 has reached 34,514, which is the fourth largest number of deaths in the world after the United States, Brazil and Britain.
The number of confirmed cases increased to 238,159, which is the eighth highest in the world, while the number of people registered as carriers of the disease decreased to 23,301 cases from 23925 cases the
day before.
