The deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, Musa Abu Marzouk, was interviewed last night (Wednesday) by the Lebanese network "Al-Miyadin" close to Hezbollah and denied the publications in the Arab media, especially in the Saudi network "Al-Arabiya", regarding the escape of a Hamas commander to Israel. Abu Marzuk noted that collaborators with Israel had indeed been arrested, as announced by the terrorist organization's interior ministry on July 3, but revealed that one or more of them had fled to Israel.
Asked about the publications in the Saudi media, he said: "Some of the media mentioned that there are al-Qassem commanders who are accused of being collaborators, and leaked lies about it. The movement has issued a statement that this is a distortion and wrong things. Hamas did announce that it had raided several collaborators with the occupation. There are no commanders among them in al-Qassem (the military wing) or in Hamas. These are members (in the organization), who have no connection. Some of them or one of them fled the occupation and were warmly received there. "Others have been arrested and are currently under investigation."

In addition, Abu Marzuk claimed in an interview that there was a possibility that Israel would attack the Gaza Strip at any moment in order to release tensions in the unity government.
